“Measuring Penny” Project
Penny is the Boston Terrier pet of a little girl in a math class. The little girl measures Penny for a class measurement project.
To wrap-up our Math unit on Measurement, students in 3A and 3B measured a pet or family member at home. They have created posterboard or book presentations on their measurement findings.
We were inspired by the book “Measuring Penny” by: Loreen Leedy. Thanks to second grade teacher Colleen Gorchyca for sharing this fun project with us!
